Not having read the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy I was really mad at Creighton. I was hurting for Cannon when he tried so hard to reconnect with Creighton, his half-sibling, only to be rejected again. It's not what I got but at the end of WHITE KNIGHT Cannon had Dom's respect and I'm A-OK with that. I still don't understand the issue he had with Cannon and I kinda wished for a proper resolution for their complicated relationship. Pretty much every character in this book surprised me to some degree because no one, who is somehow involved with the Casso family, is actually what they seem, even capo Dom Casso, the most ruthless of them all. It starts out with a bang and continues in the same manner. WHITE KNIGHT? Full of them! There are some major developments in the second installment of the Dirty Mafia Duet, which picks up where we left Drew and Cannon. I LOVE when authors can surprise me with their twists.
